The confuct of the defense attorneys was repulsive and, frankly, disgraced a legal system that already has a dubious reputation. The judge did himself no favors by not only allowing the offensive and blatantly manipulative remarks, but also commending those attorneys and defendants at the end of the trial. Three cheers for the prosecuter, the only member of the bar who acquitted herself well.
