Thanks for the info. I am addicted to palm trees ... everything about them fascinates me (one of several reasons that I live inHawai'i). Among the many imported palms that have adopted the islands as their home is the pindo--although it doesn't appear to be as common as some of the others. I wasn't aware that the fruit was edible (or jellible?) , but will keep an eye out for them now.
