Thanks for the clarification, Amelie. Schizophrenia, as you know too well, is a horrible disease that leaves individuals and families devastated. I haven’t kept up with the research since I retired, but I know that at one point we wondered if we were able to better identify people who were at risk, and protect them from known or likely triggers until they were into their late twenties, could we avoid the illness entirely? I do think that we are making progress, but it is painfully slow. In any event, you and your brother have my empathy and best wishes.
