Thanks for sharing!

I extend a lot of grace in this department ... sexual attraction happens to us. It isn't something that we choose, or that we do, so I neither assign blame nor try to understand its etiology (I am talking strictly about the experience of feeling captivated or aroused--not any subsequent behavior).

And I have definitely felt a pull toward straight guys who were at least superficially my "type" ... right up until he identifies himself, or is identified by someone else, as 'straight'. And then, suddenly, it is completely over ... the light has been turned out. I feel exactly the same way about straight men that I do about women: I can recognize that she is "gorgeous" or that he is a "hunk" ... but it is simply an observation, much like saying that two and three equal five. No emotion is attached.

I may be weird, but when it comes to love and lust, I think we each have our own unique brand of weirdness ... and that's okay. You be you, and try to enjoy the journey!
