Stereotyping, and condensing the many shades of gray into nothing more than black and white, never goes out of fashion, does it? But it never enlightens anyone, or truly explains anything either.

I am a man who doesnʻt throw tantrums and who has never threatened anyone with violence, and has never assaulted anyone—unless you count swatting a drunk’s finger out of my face when he accosted me.

Much of what you have to say is valid and deserves to be heard. Why undermine your own message by lumping us all together and alienating those who could and should be allies?
