Must every casual connection be a 'relationship'? Can't some people simply be acquaintances with whom we have incredible sex? And if so, what concern is it of mine how this person frames his or her sex life--or to whom? Or to be, perhaps, more technical: in virtually every other aspect of our lives we may have purely transactional connections that we maintain because they meet our needs. If we are ethically nonmonogamous, why should be sex different?
