I envy your experience at Yale ... enjoy. Perhaps I am a bit of a contrarian, but if you begin with Christianity, and then subtract the so-called miracles and the idea of vicarious atonement, I might suggest that what remains already has a name ... which happens to be Reform Judaism. (And as an additional selling point, it also has bagels!)
