Corrado Rosca: put the glass of kool-aid down, man. After everything that happened you are still swallowing the lies and clinging to the false narrative generated by the ultra-right propaganda machine. A mob storming the U.S. Capitol during a joint session of Congress, chanting “hang Mike Pence” and calling for the assassination of the speaker of the house — causing the members of Congress to take refuge behind barricaded doors while their offices were being ransacked — is not a “demonstration” … it is an attempted coup.

As for BLM, get a grip: virtually everything you have heard about them from Fox, OANN or Newsmax (three “networks” committed to ‘advocacy journalism’ — a euphemism for propaganda — owned and/or controlled by three extraordinarily wealthy, older white men with a shared radical agenda) is distorted or simply false.

Like the insurrectionists facing trial, you are being used by a cabal of plutocrats who want to do nothing less than “dismantle the statist paradigm,” in the words of Charles Koch. Ideally, many of them would roll back the New Deal and entitlement programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid while ripping away any environmental protections that get in the way of the fossil fuels industry. In other words, more wealth for the few at the top and less care for either the people or the planet. Is that really what you want?
