At this point in my life, I honestly don't know what "cheating" is ... I don't own my boyfriend, or my best friend (different titles for two great guys playing different roles in my life) and I definitely have no claim over the FWBs or fuck buddies who are also part of the constellation. We are all free to do whatever the hell we want, whenever the hell we want it ... and that may be why we usually wind up doing it together!

For those in more traditional relationships, with some shared understanding of what might constitute "cheating," there are, I agree, a number of situations that one can imagine in which one partner might truly be justified meeting his or her needs outside of the other partner's awareness or approval. Not ideal by any means--I have little patience for dishonesty--but still, "cheating" could be the best of a bucketful of bad options!
